I have fitted the Bennett Auto tab Control to my Sundancer 260, I bought this unit from the States last year and have just fitted it, it is an AC3000 Unit. Although we can still get the tabs to control manually, when we set the ATC it won’t stay on. We get some lights but it seems to shut off and there is no further response. The standard Sea Ray Tab Control switch is different to any of the ones in the installation manual, could this be the problem or more than likely, a faulty unit??? But Bennettt have said unlikely. I am sure our wiring is spot on as we fitted it exactly according to the installation instructions, the only variation was the different manual Tab Control Switch, because mine looks nothing like the one in the installation instructions; and doesnt appear to be a Bennett Switch. Has anyone else had this problem.

When you say you "set" the ATC have you then tried simply turning the unit "ON"? I had the previous generation unit on my last boat and I had to first "set" the attitude by pressing two buttons at the same time which would cause a light over both buttons to flash for a few seconds and then stop once the attitude was locked in. Then, I had to press the power button to engage the unit. It did have a memory after that, so I simply pressed the power button after the initial "set" process.

If it's not that, you mentioned "we get some lights, but it seems to shut off"? What lights and for how long?

We get the Zero Point Light and then when we power on The top LED and then two of the trim tab lights either up or down and then nothing
