audible alarm sounding

I don't know if this is related to the charging problem i had (or have). I am getting a very low audible alarm, but the gauges are all generally fine.

I though it might be due to a low battery again, so i shut down and switched batteries, but it didn't help. I said 'generally fine' because at low rpm, i noticed the volt meter was only around 12.25 volts. When i increased the rpm, the volt meter went up to around 14 volts after a couple of minutes, but the low audible alarm continued regardless.

I've put the batteries on the charger again to see if this has any effect on the next outing.

Any ideas? :smt017

Low drive fluid is a common cause of your alarm going off. But if it isn't that, then you will probably need a Mercury Tech to diagnose your problem with his scanner.

I agree with Dave.

I doubt your batteries have anything to do with it. At idle, it will show less than when at speed. Sounds normal to me.
