Hey hey hey, come'on now. Lot's of room to drink and have fun though. And more room to work on the engines with straight drives.
 
Great Oaks does let you tie up to go to the restaurant, we did a couple weeks ago

When did that change? Last year I was told only SH members could dock for the restaurant.

You should get a 2nd boat. One to take to transient slips. Like a tender to the yacht. Even Bezos has one. Step up man, run with the big dogs.

I called Tolchester this week about a slip for the weekend. Those slips close to the bar are 40' so I'd be way out on the floating dock perimeter like I was last year. Definitely a far walk but the change of scenery was fun. Not heading there this weekend due to change of plans.
 
I know the slips, back up against the road/path near bar, and those are big boats. Yours must be enormous. How many hot chicks you have working in the crew?
We going Saturday.

Your similar in length as me. The docks up against the beach/bar are all for the day and not all of the slips have power either. The only "Slip" that is available along that dock is by the gas dock and your boat will fit, that slip can't be reserved.

To stay at the marina and pay for a slip you would be back in the main part of the marina which can accommodate your boat.

The dock that you can get for the day and free is in the pic in red and all along that dock. The rest are for overnight. Every time I have tried to get that red slip, someone has always been in it and for a while. The earliest I have every tried to be there was ~11.

I am going to go there at the end of July, two bands on the same day and IMO, of the best on the Chesapeake for Jimmy Buffet music. But will be staying in a regular slip if I can get a res.

I just called and they've got 60' slips available in the covered shed area. Going to make a few calls and see if any other boats/friends are interested in going.

Look at the map. All the slips along Long Beach and Kent are transient. Long Beach is for larger cruisers and go fast boats. Kent slips are where I get. These are 20 - 28' crusiers, CC, Bowrider boats.
Lots of transient slips, but you have to fit. Otherwise you get put on Santa Rosa as you said.
July 29, 3 bands. Sons of Pirates, Chris Sacks, Kayne Twitty. We will be there, SOP is our favorite. The place will be mobbed, I plan to get there by 10am to get a slip. Arrive early and hang out. Its going to be very crowded.
Band review - Saw Radio Hero yesterday. The little chick lead singer had amazing energy. (To be young again), Great voice, jumping and dancing around. Reminded me of Joan Jett or Benetar. The music kind of drowned out her singing. They should be called Radio HEAD. Lots of head banging music. Not my style.

I saw that a LOT of covered slips were empty. Shockingly empty, so either a lot of boats went away for the weekend or sold/moved since last year.
I walked around my marina yesterday, first time in a while and was surprised how many empty slips we have. If they got rid of the derelicts, there would be a lot more empty. I feel for you guys in areas with waiting lists for slips.
