I read an article awhile back that talked about the number of times individuals order stuff from Amazon. I forget the average orders per month, but it was in the teens per household.

So, are you a certified Amazon junkie? How many times per month does your family order stuff from Amazon?

I like Amazon because I can return stuff for free. I think I return 40 to 50% of what I purchase nowadays. Nice way to demo/see stuff and see if you actually like it.

Waiting for 2 pkgs today. We shop everything on Amazon. Everything! Except local Lowes and Ace for things I need immediately.
Nice yacht Bezoz. You have a great company. You should have stayed with MacKenzie. Way cuter and classier than that blow job lips messican hotel maid gold digging cholula that servicing you now.

Between business and personal use, I probably place an order every other day

0-5 per YEAR. Jeff Bezo's doesn't need my help.
Amazon is probably the only place I/we shop less than Walmart.
Even if my efforts change nothing, I sleep good in the meantime.

Me almost never. In fact, I have found better prices local, even west marine, on things I need. Wife and kid -- all I can say is buy stock cuase they are keeping them afloat. :)

I'm tired of driving around to stores that 90% of the time don't have what I am looking for. Amazon has what I need 90% of the time with free shipping and free returns. I bet I save 2-3000 miles/yr plus my time driving around getting aggravated.

You'd be surprised how much stuff on my boat came from Amazon

I'm the same way. I can't count how many times we order from Amazon every month. And each time I order from them means one less trip to the store. I'd guesstimate that we order 25 times per month, and I return about 1 time for every 15 orders.

Oh, and did I say what Amazon is building not ONE, but TWO distribution centers about 5 miles from here. Each one will have 1,000,000 sq ft on the ground floor and one of them will have an additional 250,000 sq ft on an elevated 2nd floor. Can y'all say "next day delivery?"

You know you can look up many stores' inventory on-line. Saves you the time driving around.

Lowe's had their inventory all screwed up earlier this year but now I have found everything that shows in stock really there lately. I try to buy locally as much as possible. I use the local Ace Hardware, local pet supply store I'm a regular at West Marine in Harrison Township and the parts guy at Colony Marine recognizes me now...that's good and bad, I guess. I stay away from Walmart like the plague. I hate that store. I do have to put up with Sam's Club for paper goods and gas.

Being in the rural, we order from Amazon, but also order from other outlets as well. Too far to drive to places for 1 item at times.

It has taught me patience. When we were in the cities, it was pretty convenient to go to a local store and pick up an item you needed immediately. Even for the boat. Now, I have to wait.

Amazon has set the bar high for online shopping and delivery. When I use another vendor now I have expectations to get all of the alerts and notifications I get from Amazon, but I don't. I've ordered online where I don't even get an order confirmation email notification or an alert that's been shipped. And they make it difficult to return, in some cases even charging you for it. I totally get it, they're smaller than Amazon, I am not complaining, just saying Amazon has set the bar high.

OH! Let me tell you my recent experience with EAGLE GRIPS, supposedly a reputable pistol grip manufacturer. Placed an order for fancy pistol grips. Next day charge shows on my visa $155. I had got no order confirmation. Multiple emails and phone calls; zero response. Over 2 months. Not a word. I call Chase Visa, they tried to contact them, nothing. Deny payment, scam. i get a call finally from the owner all belligerent why i deny payment. So I explain what i just said, he says well he been a little busy. Really? Your customer service sux! So i call visa release payment. Received product a week later. What was supposed to be Rosewood grips was a cheap plastic ugly purple plastic. Proudly made in The USA. Ive got better stuff from China. Ya, i got ripped off.
Eagle Grips, remember that.

Call Visa back now! They work for you, tell them about the crap and that you were deceived.

I order everything online, saves so much time and travel. I use Amazon almost exclusively. They ship fast and no hassle returns that are free every time. Be smart about ordering online Amazon is not always the cheapest, but usually close within a few percent. Ace/True value/Lowes for the immediate house/yard needs.

I get most things within one to two days if I want to, typically bundle up and get them on Wednesdays. Place where I drop off returns is about 3 to 4 minutes away, couldn't be easier.

The items I purchased for my stereo upgrade were cheaper on Amazon but I decided to go with Crutchfield for the technical support.
