Hi all. Are the marine battery chargers in the boat rebuildable or do just toss them out and replace it? I have a c3000 model 12153f-a in my 1990 searay that is from 1996 and can't find one or is ther something newer equivalent to it?

I had a Charles Marine charger in my Formula and sent to back to the mfg for a refurb. Cost me around $200 if I remember correctly, so yes they can be rebuilt. Mine needed new capacitors.

This is a lot better than 650 for a use one I found on eBay. Thx

Isn't that charger a 60 amp 3 bank? Do you really need that many amps? Contact Charles you should be able to get something like a 20 amp 3 bank for around $300.00 with all the new features that will bolt right in without any mounting modifications.

I have a 5000 20 amp 3 bank lead acid that was pulled from my boat worked fine when pulled stored somewhere if interested pm me.
