Are any CSR members going to Rock Hall August 14th for the “Pirate and Wenches Festival”? We have a group of 15 boats from our club going and have reservations at Osprey Point Marina (we made them in December).

It would be nice to meet in person some of the CSR folks we so often “chat” with online.

No but OPM is one of my favorite spots. Just be careful of the "S" cleats. they stick-out.

Ive been thinking of going along with my nephew that just bought a 290. Either one of us have been to rock hall so would be a bit nervous heading into what i figure will be a pretty crowded area. Sounds like a fun time.

By the way .......... I guess it is a small world. My nephew who has a shore home in Rumsey Island was asking about any local boating groups and i sent him a link to your website just yesterday. I had found it on the net awhile back.

Also ....... I just noticed your boat name. Ive been trying to decide on a name for mine and my better half's name is Sandy, and Sandy Beaches is one I thought about. She didnt care much for Sandy Bottom!! One of these days, I'll come up with something.

That is funny as my wife's name is Sandy as well, and the original thought for the boat name was Sandy Bottom..... she did not go for it. I have no idea why:huh:

I was reading the posts and I realized I have seen your boat (hack4alivin) well at least this pic. Isn't that Han's boat behind you?

I just viewed your trip to New York. Great pics and the write up was awesome.
When my wife gets back from Wisconsin I plan to show her the pictures and remind her why we want a 410 Sea Ray EC.
Thanks again,
Hope to see you on the water,
Joe

Ok but if you show her the pictures and she does let you get the 410….. I need to know actually how you did it so I can use the same technique on my wife.

I did get her thinking it is time for a bigger boat on the trip though! Big waves, big fish, big boat!

I currently have a 270 Sundancer 1988. Love the boat but just not big enough. How did your boat handle in the open waters and what looked like some rough seas?

She is all for the boat. However, she is getting a new kitchen, new composite deck extended by 12x12 and a new bathroom for the house.

My thinking is the boat would have a newer galley, bigger party deck area and the head, well, the head is the head.

410 bound

Boat did just fine, the crew was not too fond of it. Poor Lacey was yack'n over the side....

It appeared that one of the boats was close to 40ft. Do you know what they said about their boat on the rough water?

I forgot to tell you I joined the Gunpowder Cove site. The Castaways.

Good looking site.

The 40 footer did fine as well, the boat with the most trouble was the 28, he could not go over 8 knots. We both slowed down for him, as we were all together.

I see you joined, I am the site developer, so thanks and welcome. Being on the site you will get emails of marina and local area activities as well as club planned trips.

Welcome aboard....

Bill

We will be at Gratitude on Friday, the trolley may not br running (the owner passed on) but may be something from Osprey

I heard about the trolley and it is a shame about the owner…. He was a nice guy and will be missed. I don’t think there is anything to replace it, so it looks like a long walk for us.

Here is a link for the Pirates and Wenches Festival, it has a PDF map and schedule that will be helpful.
