aquapaloozas 2012

Im liking the idea of organizing the csr raft at the events. We get to go enjoy the fun yet stay safe and out of the bs. Although I am an amatuer and young I do still have a pretty mature outlook when it comes to boats. Lost a good friend of mine in a boat accident in little neck bay due to drugs so having a web site like this and an older more mature crowd to listen to and take advise from really helps.
 
We enjoy the Lake Wylie Aquapalooza each year and are thankful they do this for us. If you are worried about floating away if someone unties you then always set your anchor and then tie up.

Wait until you see the location for Lake Wylie this year. It will make attending the event challenging, to say the least.

My anchor was deployed and they used my stern anchor as well, my anchor is not designed to hold three 30' boats a 27' and i think 25' it was the drunks 6 boats away who had total disreguard for other peoples property and first , safety , if you cant act like an adult then dont hangout with them , thats my point

Well put gwado. I did notice some interesting tasks being performed and def wondered how there were no arrests at the end of the party but was still a great time
 
There's a GREAT CSR get together at Liberty Landing Marina in July.
 
Good time is enjoying a nice cup of coffee. WE HAVE A NANTUCKET LIGHTSHIP to throw a party on with views of Manhattan. Rumor has it that everyone's boat will be washed by Gary on arrival.

Oh my, in front of the lake Wylie marina sign! That is the main channel!

Not gonna be able to tie up there without bashing the boats in the huge wakes.

Yeah I dont know what this is all about but basically smack in the middle of probably the busiest part of the lake not to mention the marina itself and the boat landing. It's gonna be a rough one.

I'm thinking about it, but I will be at Flynns Fri and Sat on a guys trip. I'll need to leave FI super early Sun morning, get back to Massapequa, kick all the drunks off, hose her down, and get the wife and kids on board and then back out to Zachs - where I will probably nap most of the day :)

It is supposed to start at 11 - but I'm not sure what time everyone really starts getting there, and what happens if you show up at 12 or 1...

Are you going?
 
Johnathan, start a CSR outside raft up and i'll go. Other than that i'm not letting MM tie me up to the group!

We plan on going but will start or be in a raft with some friends outside of the two rafts that MM creates.
We didnt have a great experience last year either. Was very well organized setting up the rafts, but thats where it ended. Chaos and disregard when everyone was leaving...
 
half fast I have a wedding The night before with an after party till 4 so that's no excuse we have 4 boats already in our own raft up outside the main event would like to make it bigger. I'm inns try to grab a pilling early if I'm not still drunk from the night b4 but I will try my best to behave. But yes we will b there. If you show up at 12-1 you will b fine I showed up last year about 11 the raft up was already closed up so there really wasn't to much traffic.
