Aquapalooza Candlewood Lake, CT - 24 July

By holding this event on a closed body of water (lake) they have limited their attendance to a particular segment of the local boating market, leaving the rest of us out. Perhaps next time they will pick a location that allows salt water boaters to participate. Have fun !

Well, this is a lake-side Marine Max holding the event, but I understand what you are saying. I know several Candlewood Lake boaters on this site, so I was hoping to meet a few of them.

How was it?

You know what? After getting hyped for this and looking forward to my first one, we ended up not going!

We got ready, loaded the boat, headed out, and then my5 and 7 year olds got "belly aches" and weren't feeling well. We ended up finding a cove and hanging by ourselves while our kids swam and played quietly (they wanted to swim). We didn't stay out long. Got them home to the AC where they rested and got over their belly aches.
