Great photos! Wish we had taken some but having too much fun to stop and take any. I see my boat is in a couple of your photos in the dam, both going up and coming back. Would it be possible for me to copy those somehow from your site?
We were tied up to my bro-in-law's big burgundy/black houseboat with a slide on the back. "River Dawg". All day long and even after dark folks were swimming or floating over and asking to go down the slide. What a great way to meet new people. Music was actually pretty good this year, especially the band who sang later in the day. Lots of boats came for the event and we ended up with quite a flotilla. We really enjoyed this year's event.

Thanks for all the comments! Here is the rest of the story.
We departed Decatur, AL (Riverwalk) Saturday AM and ran up river. We got to the dam at about noon. Got rafted up and at the peak had 24 boats in a row with 3 more ski boats tied behind and 5 jetskis. We stayed until 6:30pm where most people headed out. A group of four went to a small cove on the south side before the dam and anchored for the night. Good times were had. Next day, we ate a late breakfast, let the kiddo splash for a bit, and waited for a pack of folks to prompt the dam. We then darted over, rode the "boat elevator" (as my 5yo son called it), and headed back to Decatur.
Too much fun. Every part of the weekend was fun. Now, I can't wait to repeat next year!

You should go to the Erwin Marine site and post your photos there. Last time i looked nobody had. They used one of our pics from the first 'Palooza in their broshures. Last year when we picked up our t-shirts, my wife found alot of our pictures in a big photo album in their lobby. Might be able to upload some to the Aquapalooza site too. We need some representation from our 'Palooza" attendees who took pics !!
