So this season I am trying this bow holder and not a slip I’ve never even seen this before I’m a little worried now after looking at the spot that these guys will be bouncing off my boat coming in/ out I don’t want the boat scuffed after all the work I put into the hull.
The marina I was at with the big boat for a few years had a slip for the 205 last year the price was crazy not to mention that where charging me for the electric pedestal that I can’t use because the boat has no shorepower anyway this bow holder is 1/2 the price of the slip in the marina next door. I’m just worried about the fishermen most don’t care what their boats look like.

I don’t know your marina rules but a lot of boats in my marina go bow in and tie the smaller boat to the swim platform... your 20’ so might be wider then your slip

On our neighborhood dock all of the boats are bow tie ups so everyone can have a space. Damage is not as bad as you would think when everybody has fenders out. As long as there are no finger floats and the boats can move from side to side freely everything just moves in unison.

Professional fishermen can be a-holes about caring about other folks boats, but recreational guys can be just as fussy as you are. We've got a couple tuna guys who are down right ocd and keeping everything just right.

When it comes to a holes, pro fishermen got nothing on Chesapeake crabbers. They never heard of a no wake zone, Or a right of way. They will come within 6’ of anchored boat, plowing, huge wake, and just keep rocking, and don’t bother report to water cops, cause they working and you rec boaters shouldn’t be in their way.

let me rephrase it, the 205 will be bow in has nothing to do with the 500 which is in Florida I’m worried about the guys next to me banging off the 205 side to side.

I was just tossing another idea out there...didn’t realize both boats were not in the same marina...thanks for rephrasing it.
And to answer your original question of course other boats are going to rubbing up on yours....what makes it worse is your rubrail is probably higher then both of those boats
