Anyone replaced there Navman 5500?

Im wanting to replace the Navman 5500 on my 270 SLX. Am wanting a unit that will show me river channels and underwater topography. Anyone replaced theirs with a unit that is similar in size to the Navman that will fit into that space on the dash?

Can't answer your question, however I believe the 5500 is capable of what you are wanting by using an up to date data card - CMap card.

I'd like to replace my Navman also. The backlight went out at the end of last season.

Can't seem to find any alternatives that work as a simple plug-n-play. It would be great to still have the interface with the Smartcraft package so I can read any fault codes.

Please let us know if you find anything.
