Anyone know of a source for EL tape, like this?

Thanks for the replies! J, Is the green color a good match for the gauges? I thought it was more of a blue. Thank you for sharing this source. Scott did my dash as well and now I need to re-do the switch panel at the helm. Dan

I used the strips in mine last week. Looks great, they are cut to length and cheap. I'll have to wait and see how they work in the heat. Only thing I found out is they don't like to be bent! I bent one over to make a corner and broke whatever chemical is inside and it stopped working after that point. I'm going to get another strip and add it to make 2 side by side insted of looping them around.
RMR how do you order? Doesn't seem any way to add anything to your shopping cart.

They are a blue green when lit and are an excellent match for the originals just brighter. I actually installed the strips on the switch panels in my shop at home and tested them out with a 12V source. This weekend I am swaping out all the switches and guages and will post a picture of the results. I had a 95 290DA before the 370 which has a switch panel very simillar to the one on your boat. These strips would work well and they are cheap.

J, thank you for the reply. I'll try em out and post some pics. My original back lighting works but the clear acrylic insert that has the writing on it keeps coming loose. The acrylic and the lighting tape seem to be held in place by some foil tape and it is no longer holding things in place. I think I'm going to replace the EL tape thats there and use epoxy to set the acrylic insert in place.

Why Sea ray wouldn't keep a few of these panels around is crazy. I spoke to a Sea Ray CS rep who was very helpful with other issues but said he remembered working in the Knoxville warehouse when the broke down a number of aluminum dash panels for the switches and sent the panels themselves to a recycler. Not sure if he was just trying to make me stop agonizing over finding a replacement or what.

I want a 370 in a big way! great boat!!!
