Anyone know how to replace the transom shower head on a '92 500 Sundancer

My transom shower faucet assembly needs a 1" (approx) threaded female fitting for the shower hose but I've only been able to find 1/2" connectors. I can't seem to buy or make an adaptor from plumbing supply houses and can't find anything usable on-line (so far). Anyone with sage wisdom on this topic?

I just went through this. The clerk at the plumbing store made it up with a brass reducing fitting screwed into and a PVC fitting.

I replaced the flexible hose on my 96 500 with one that I bought at my local hardware store that was for a hand held shower. Screwed right on
