Hello all,
I'm considering purchasing the new Garmin 010-01580-01 echoMAP CHIRP 94sv, it's a 9" chart plotter and fish finder combo. Instead of having to buy a separate transducer they are now including a stern-mounted transducer with the unit and it looks like a fat black rod that flips up or down. I've heard that stern-mounted transducers aren't as accurate as through hull units, specifically at higher speeds, so as the entire package is available on Amazon for $1299 I want to see if anyone has used this model.
