i recently purchased a 2007 38DA. I’m wanting to get a bow cover made that will completely cover the bow all the way down to the rubrail. I’m near an air force base and I get fallout from the planes that leaves black specks all in my non skid of my bow. So I’ve decided I’m going to invest in a bow cover. I’m hoping this will cut my cleaning time down drastically and also protect me from fallout and birds. Has anyone else done this? I’d love to see pictures of what you’ve done and how it is attached to the boat since I do not want to put any snaps in.
Thanks

I've seen photos of at least one boat of this size with a full bow cover. Big money. That's a whole lotta canvas. If I recall it attached to snaps and the windshield and had fasteners around all of the forward and mid cleats. Snaps near the cushions too, maybe.

I bet that cover (custom with snaps) is $5k all day long for a 38'. That would buy lot of non-skid cleaner!

I own a canvas business and made one for a 340DA. Here are a few pics for you to get an idea. It was a lot of work to say the least. The boat owners loved it. 340DA3.jpg 340DA8.jpg 340DA5.jpg IMG_1821.jpg

Thanks for the great pics. If you don’t mind me asking, what did that run?

I did it for a bit under 2K but would charge more if I did another one as it took me twice as long as I thought (doesn't it always!)
