Anyone have a 3D printer looking for a project?

I am in need of a custom gauge "pod" that needs to be 3D printed. All I have is general measurements, not CAD.

Any suggestions?

3D printer is something I absolutely cannot wrap my head around. Never seen one. I heard of people making a pistol on one. How the hell can you make a pistol on a printer? Makes no sense.

It’s a little misleading. You can make the parts but you still have to put them together. You may need some other parts that the printer can’t make as well.

This is correct. In most cases you’re just printing the frame and then you add the firing mechanisms, barrel, trigger, etc. there are a couple of full 3d printed guns, but they are not what most guys are printing.
