Anyone going to Block Island or Newport around the holiday?

Hey guys, Anyone going to be around Block Island, Sag Harbor or Newport during the next two weeks?(6/27-7/14) We're headed to Sag on Saturday followed by 3mile harbor and then on to Block and beyond...

I think we're going to roll into Block on Tuesday or Wednesday thru the weekend. We're going into Old Harbor, possibly to the dock. Stop by and say hello..

Looking kinda sketchy. Marine forecast warnings for a few days as a result of that southern tropical storm. Anyone seeing a different forecast?

I came home today. Was a good 5 days but windy. I was on hook with 3 other boats and no place to be in a storm.

We are still on anchor in old harbor currently. We're planning to ride out the storm here today. Perfect Remedy(480DB) is also in the raft with us. We have about 100+ boats still rafted up in Old Harbor. Our raft has quite a few larger boats with anchors out on every boat. We've also got stern anchors on every boat as well. Winds are not to bad currently, expecting 30+kts winds later tonight.

Good luck in old town! I ll keep an eye out for you from Matunuck landbound! Nice adventure. For giggles look up the video of a Meridian 391 riding out a hurricane on the hook. Pretty cool. This will be a peice of cake for you!
