Anyone ever had a vent box fall off their boat?

We were out yesterday and when we got back to the marina we discovered that the starboard vent box(#26) was missing from the side of our '05 340 DA. Looked like the factory just uses adhesive to hold it on. I wonder what this is going to cost me?

Had one fall off my 97 330. $110 installed by Marine Max while in the water. I'm sure I paid a lot for labor. Used a piece of white tape to cover it to prevent water from splashing in noticed it while getting fuel so that was an easy temp fix.

Mine was very loose, almost falling off. I used an adhesive silicone to adhere to the boat and seal the joints on top.

That $110 was just for the labor right? I think the piece itself is over $500 plus they have to be painted. If you have to buy one, paint in and install it you'll be over $600. I cr. acked mine, repaired it and then used good silicone to re-install. Not a hard job
