Anyone a financial broker, or pleased as punch with one?

The world has gone crazy, environment in New York State is business toxic, and employer is shutting down. I'll be phased out in a few months, my mostly vested 401(k) will need a trustee to trustee transfer as I can't stay in a plan that will be closed. I work with BoA as my personal bank, and have relationships with NBT through my work contacts. I was considering Merrill Edge Rollover IRA, as it can be merged with my BoA portal. Any thoughts or experience with them? Someone else? I'm looking for a semi-managed plan, not self directed or full agent. I've currently invested in an "aggressive" portfolio in a Charles Swabb account managed by Alerus. Alerus' fees are significantly higher than that of Merrill's offering.

I'm a BIG fan of Vanguard. Their fees are as low as you'll find.

Thanks hblock. mostly trying to find recommendations. I just don't know who the companies are. Google search aren't reliable, as that's just sending me the list of the companies with the highest Advertisement budget.
