anybody at huron lagoons? Newbe this year.

We have a new dock this year at huron lagoons. Its not our first trip to lake erie but first year docking. Just wondering if there are any current dockers? Looking for any insider tips and info. We are docking in the m-docks this year, with our 23 footer. looking to upgrade to a 27-30 next year.

WE are new there this year too. We are at the b docks. It looks like a pretty good marina. Maybe we will see you there.

We'll be up there most weekends if the weather cooperates. I can't wait, should be a good summer.

I was just there today putting some things in the boat. Looks like they have dredged the river and are replaceing some of the m docks. Have you checked out the news letter on line.

We stopped by a few weeks ago when they we dredging the river. That's a good thing because it looked pretty shallow on the charts. I haven't checked out the news letter recently, i'll have to do that. Are you planning on joining the yacht club? Sounds like it would be worth it for fuel discounts and use of the pool.

we have a friend that is moving his boat there this year from marina del isle his name is jim kavalac and his daughter alex and his dog waffles they are good people.....

It's funny, we almost docked at Marina Del Isle this year, but things worked out differently. Maybe thats a good sign that people are coming to HLM. Cant wait, plus we have 2 dogs that love to meet new freinds as well.

Yes I think I am going to join. atleast you get a discount on the gas and maybe go on a few cruises with them

That was my thinking too. We will probably be needing gas discounts this year by the sounds of it.

Yeah I am not looking forward to filling a 100 gallon tank. Have you thought about what kind of dock box you are going to do. They allow them fairly large there.

No, I havent bought a dockbox yet. The place we docked last year didnt allow them. I'll probably wait and see what other people have and go from there.

i dont dock there but i have a friend who does he loves it there i like the little trip from vermilion to huron usually for swimming at quite waters and a bite to eat.
