So happy with this boat.
Engines
Twin 5.0
My marine is sunnyside south of Stillwater, MN.

(story)
I was down there a couple of weeks ago. I ended up tie'ing off on the cement dock along Stillwater. Once a year I do an outing with customers (guys) and we float and then hit either, Prescott, Hudson, and Stillwater.

This last trip, I payed to transient dock at Hudson, but when we stopped in Stillwater, and after a couple at the Freight House, for the safety of everyone, I decided to stay. Plus all the new construction of the bridge, I didn't want to tangle up with something.

It worked out pretty well. The Admiral (wife) wasn't happy that I was acting like a mid-20 year old by going to the Freight House on a Friday, but she was happy that I wasn't a buffoon by trying to get back to Hudson.
(end)

Anyway, I slip at Watergate Marina in St. Paul and come down with my family and anchor in the Kinni to swim or Bay.

I'll be anchored in Hudson bay sat & sun just south of the dike, stop by for a mudslide

Going to be out Sat through Monday. Still ironing out the details for each day.. kinni, prescott bay, maybe TI? I'd like to do some camping but not too familiar with camping spots outside beer can.. which I want to avoid.

My wife and I slip our of Bayport mn. We will be out fri thu Sunday.

camping with a tent? there is 807 just south of Prescott, or the horseshoe just north of TI

Yea, camping with a tent. We will be staying in the boat but some friends may be tenting. The horseshoe, forgot about that.

What does 807 refer to?

Its a long narrow island, the south end is at mile marker 807, you go between the island and shore on the Minnesota side of the river. nice sheltered area to beach your boat there a number of campsites.

We slip at Kings Cove in Hastings. We'll be out Saturday and Sunday but not sure where yet; maybe hang out at Prescott Bay

Ah, yes I know that strip. Thanks for the tip

I'm also out of King's Cove - D dock.

We're on E dock; practically neighbors ;-)

You are near the beginning of the dock, aren't you? I see that 2655 two slips over. I had my 2655 across from that one for the first half of the season. I bet I have said hi to you in passing or something. Funny.

Better late then never,

I am PaPa's boat currently but going through a name change. The new name will be "Commodore" at the wife's request.

Really enjoying the marine. Everyones great.

I will be on N dock 2015 forward. Really glad my mother held onto this slip, now she just charges me the taxes. I will be the 300 sundancer in the 55' x 18' covered slip.
