any one rent there boat out

thinking of renting the 230.

any one done this? any advice on pit falls, insurance, and moving to and from lake ect?

Hi Garry & Gerry,

I'm currently listed on BoatBound, but my boat only goes out "Captained" with me @ the helm. There are several firms out there that do this. The other folks I'm on there with that let the boat go out with the renter seem to have pretty luck with Boatbound.

Mark, how many times has your boat gone out? Thoughts? Experience? Are you a licensed capt.?

I am now a paid professional mariner... lol. I have 4 charters under my belt. I hold a 50 Ton Masters rating and with my boat, I can take up to 6 paying passengers plus crew. My thought was to take an expensive hobby and turn it into a money losing business for tax purposes. Here is a pic of a charter I had last summer.... man this one was tough duty !!

thanks will have to check this out. found out can't at powell or flaming gorge. federal recreation area.

have to have permits ect. to rent on lake.

might be able to rent off lake and launch at lake.

every one thats doing business on the lakes, have concessions.
