I went to my marina's Yacht Club meeting last week and was told they have a problem with "Knock, Knock" fish. Apparently these are most likely ordinary male Carp that bang on the bottom of boats in shallow water during spawning season in the middle of the night. The noise is loud enough to keep folks from getting a good night's rest.
One of the major reasons for me getting the bigger 320 was to be able to sleep overnight with our dogs. However, if our deep REM sleep is going to be disrupted by these little bastards, I may stay home. If you think I'm nuts, there is actually an article in the September issue of Boat U.S. magazine about it. You salt water folks have your barnacles and apparently we river rats have to deal with horny carp. So any of you guys been attacked in the middle of the night by these oversexed carp?:smt021
