As some of you know I built a Salt away flush system last winter. I have been using it all summer with great results. I had to make a couple small changes, but it will be very similar to the one I built. Mostly upgrading the valves with more expensive, custom purpose built for this application. If you guys are interested I may make a few kits this winter. Between my parts cost and labor I'm thinking somewhere around $475. The valves are stainless steel, Couplers are Bronze, not brass, Barb nipples are stainless, All the clamps are stainless. Nothing on this system will corrode.

Similar system costing $995 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D05sirp5giY

This will be a complete plug and play system for 2 engines. I'm just throwing it out there to see if there is interest. I'm going to post back with a video of the flushing process and how it works on my boat. Thanks.... salt2.jpgsalt.jpgsalt1.jpg

Yes,
Twin engine kit please.
Believe my intake hoses are inch and a quarter.

OK that's 2. I may be able to make them. Can you guys wait a 3 or 4 months? I'd like to get through this season and when things calm down at home I will have time to devote to it. Thanks....

I never quite understood the system. What gets cleaned/preserved? Where does it start and where does it finish?

In your OP, a question was asked about treating the gennie. Is it possible to have a 3 valve system?

OOPS..... I'm interested as well. More interested if a 3 way system is available. My gennie is new.

Months away is fine.....play with it over the winter, for a spring install :)

Just an observation....in your pic, looks like the raw water "Tee" fitting is a stainless fitting threaded into the bronze connector....is this dis-similar metal a possible problem?
Would it be better to be both the same (bronze).?

I tried to find a bronze coupler with no luck. I can order a stainless coupler though. I'll take a look at the fitting in the winter, but I don't think they will be a problem since they are both very non corrosive.

Look at how it works..Picture this setup with a coupler injecting the fluid right after the thru hull pickup. Yes I'm looking into a 3 valve system also. I'd like to do my generator also.View attachment 45981
