Hey so I know I would have to post the listing for my boat in the ads, but is it worth it on this site? Do you guys think there's potential buyers on an 07 black hull 48 dancer with 150 hours on this site?

If you only want $50,000 I think I would buy it! LOL!! Obviously, there is always "interest", it all depends on price and condition, but you know that.

We (wife and I) have actually decided to purchase a mid 40's+ and put it in Florida as a condo substitute. We are currently shaping our "must have" list and probably won't pull the trigger until prices panic again at the end of the season.

For us, its a big jump from lake runabouts to saltwater big boats and we are in information accumulation overload. (Currently the first decision nexus is Dancer or Bridge...and we think Bridge but the Dancers have such better lines) but information doesn't get a lot better than here.

Anyway...CSR is our home port for searching for boats, for what its worth. We follow the "Used Sea Ray" classifieds. I have a sneaking suspicion that there is a very small group of people on this site that may be interested in any boat...but those that are, would be very interested.

May have some interest. Can you list some specifics ie: options/upgrades and/or can you post some pictures of the boat?

You're wondering whether to spend $40 on an ad for a 6 figure boat. :smt089

Run the ad.........what is the downside?

With 6 posts I bet he doesn't spend the $40 bucks.

I'm probably naive but what's wrong with the black hull?

Hey, with prices of condos and homes in Florida you might think long and hard about making a boat your get away condo. I think you might find that you are much happier buying a nice condo on the ICW and getting a boat lift with a nice searay for cruising around like the 270 Select EX (it has the vacuflush toilet!).

You can get a nice condo for $400,000-600,000 (and probably cheaper) and the boat for around $100,000 with all the goodies; probably a whole lot cheaper than that with some negotiating. You will be miles ahead with the admiral, trust me. There are a whole host of issues that would drive me crazy if I didn't live in Florida and had a boat floating here year around.

I just saved you thousands of dollars, a mountain of headaces, and endless sleepless nights of worry. Please PM for the information on where to send a check for this good advice. I need more gas for this summer and at $2.51 per gallon I need lots o' money. LOL

Bigbear711,

My God that is a beautiful boat! What are you upgrading to? I only wish I had the resources to take that home with me. Good luck on finding a buyer.

Best Regards,

Mike

How so? Good or bad?

Mike

I'm thinking he is throwing up on his shoes at that price. He's probably thinking he could have bought a very sharp used boat for 100's of thousands less than he shelled out for his new boat. Boy doesn't that suck. :wow:

Yes that was me pulling up at the fuel dock in Hyannis yesterday evening. Went over to Oak Bluffs for the day and that place was dead. Boat is running great and just waiting for a new owner!

The price is there to move, I'm not looking to play any games, just want to sell the boat and I'm not looking to jack up the price to try and jerk anyone around...looking into larger sea rays and some other manufacturers as well but need to move this one first...Thanks
