My 2007 210 SEL Anchor lights switch came off, and I am having a bear of a time getting it back attached. It consists of a clear pole that extends out to the front from the back of the dash with 2 or 3 star washers and then on the facing side, a switch metal cover with a clear end for the light and a threaded piece that's supposed to thread onto the pole on the back of the dash. I've taken a small pin to try to get the star washers to go down on the back item, so I can get the front piece to thread in, and have wrestled with this for over an hour now, trying to get it to thread with no luck. There must be an easier way to do this. I think my biggest issue is getting these star washers back on the back part of the switch. I've been pushing the switch forward from behind the dash to try to get it to extend into the hole so I can catch it with the front threaded piece. I'll take a pic later and post it but was hoping I could post this before I go back down to the boat and maybe get some ideas.

Take off one washer

I'm wondering, if I can pull the switch out of the back, and put the star washers back on it, and then hopefully feed it in without losing them and threading the facing side onto it. We'll see.
