any 36 sundancers owners out there

getting set to sea trial a 2005 36 sundancer
(gas 8.1 merc inboards) then if all goes well close on the boat end of the week. I've got a surveyor who has gone over the boat and will be on the sea trial.
What things should I be looking closely at?
How has your experience been with your 36DA?

although I own a 340, I just went through the process a few months ago. here are a couple of thoughts. How is the saturation of the hull? If any wet spots are they only located near screws that you can apply new caulking and reset. Make sure during the sea trial that the transmissions are not making any noise once in gear and some RPM's are added. Wear ear plugs....It is extremely loud when running wide open with the engine hatch open (with the surveyor in the engine room). Check that the impellers are all working and that water in flowing through genni and AC.

Compression check on engines. I do not know how detailed your surveyor is but it would be well worth the investment to do so.
