Who knows of a good shop in the Antioch, CA/Bay area?
I have a friend looking to get some inspection/service done in that area and I figured some of you Cali/Bay area guys might steer me in the right direction.

I use KKMI and Delta Boatworks. KKMI is in the bay, Delta boatworks is located in isleton, not too far from antioch. I know there are a couple of shops in antioch that someone may have personal knowledge of.

Thank you. Are the shops you mention Merc shops?

I have used a shop called Performance marine. It located
on the property of Lauritzen yacht harbor. You can Google or
Google Map that and it will show where it is at. It is 1000 ft
East of the Antioch Bridge (hwy 160) in Oakley, CA. The
owners name is Henri, the mechanics name is David and he is
mercury certified. The Lauritzen yacht harbor web site has a
link to Performance marine towards the bottm of there home
page. There web site only gives an address and e-mail and
phone number. There web site used to be much larger when
they used to sell 120MPH cat boats. I guess he isn't selling
boats anymore and his web site is under construction. I would recomend David to anyone. He is very good.

Hope this helps........Len

Thanks Guys. Looks like I'll be coming down on the 11th/12th of Feb to look at a boat my cousin and her husband are interested in. Hopefully it's all they think it is and we can add another SeaRay to the family.

What marina are you going to?

Thanks Len for the advice. With a couple phone calls there, Performance marine looks like the guys we'll have do some work.

Len, thanks again for the reference. We used David from Performance marine and they were very knowledgable and helpful.

We drove down there and looked at a very nice 2000 240DA and My cousin ended up using Performance Marine for a mechanical survey. We drove the boat back Sat night/Sunday and got it home Sunday afternoon.
