I have a 1988 340 Sundance, I am told I may have a problem with the anti-siphon valve for my Port fuel tank. Where exactly is this valve located? I know the tank is under the aft cabin. Or does this valve even exist on this boat.

That will be screwed into the tank pick up tube on top of the tank. The fuel line will be attached to it, looks like a barbed hose fitting but has a spring loaded ball valve inside it.

Carb came back, same problem. Discovered the vacuum disc which controls the big flapper in the carb was not working. I was lucky to find one to replace it. Once I replaced it, power was back to normal. Simple problem, but it took a lot of trial and error to isolate it. Thank you again for your reply. Don
