- 8.1L HO Mercruiser (840 horse), 10kw Kohler Genset, Torqueedo 1003 for Dinghy
I'm suspecting an anti-siphon issue on my '98 Sundancer.
A few questions...
1). Is there only one, located right off each fuel tank? Is there anything else that could constrict flow between the tank and engine? We have the stock sea ray tank selector/shutoff configuration.
2). I know the risks of running without one, and do not plan to run without it. I'd like to replace with one without the ball to test, is that is possible?
3) where can I find part numbers for replacement? It is not in the Merc manual or the sea ray manual. Is this a more generic part?
4) if I'm able to get it all apart, can I use anything to 'clean' it? The boat is 13 years old, is that a long time for this part?
Thanks... LOVE this forum!!
