Ok I'd like to think I am half way intelligent but I just seem to be missing something. This my first spring with a new to me 2007 340. The antenna was taken off for shrink wrapping. The dealer put on the wrap and I took it off. Now the question, the cable connection for the antenna is down inside of the tube that like a female connection to the mount on the boat. It is hard to describe but I'm guessing if someone knows what I'm talking about you get the problem. Is there some special way or tool to use to get the cable connected? I can't get my fingers in or needle nose. Thanks so much!

Can I assume you are referring to the TV antenna? If so, it takes a special tool to reconnect. Mine (before I removed it completely and tossed it in a dumpster) had this tool inside of the mount. If you don't see it you can contact the manufacturer. This issue has been discussed here in the forum before. You can do a search and possibly get more information.

There is a special tool, but you can slice a rubber hose long wise and to get the connector threaded on, It obviously will not be tight but it will work.

Thanks so much! I thought I was just going nuts! Appreciate the link
