While the boat is still on the ground I'm going to try and solve a water leak issue that arose at the end of last season. In a nutshell, when I get the boat on plane and change the angle of the bow to a more upper position, water rushes back and down the bulkhead behind the steering column and gauges (wall to the head compartment). First concern is the water is running over the breaker box about 6 inches from the floor and out the hatch door seams. I opened the gauge access panel in the head and felt up and over the bulkhead and found no water. There is no water in the cabin anywhere, none in the head, no sagging or dripping headliners, no puddling anywhere. In season I always cover the boat with a cockpit cover that goes over the windshield then back to the transom. A few years ago I pulled out the silicon from the rubrail and didn't replace it so I'm thinking maybe the deck/hull joint opened up in a spot but not sure how the water could get from there to a spot higher up. Also thinking maybe the windshield but with the cover on all the time can that much water get in? It's a lot of water leaking out. I'm kind of stumped on where to start the process of elimination and where else forward of the cockpit could I get water where it wouldn't also show up in the cabin.
