We had the Nu Teak installation done on our boat today, complete with a little special custom work. Here are some photos.

I thought you were buying a diesel?

Looks good. Let us know if it is hot on the feet as others have commented?

We are still in the market for a bigger boat with diesels, but I wanted to install this at the beginning of the season anyway. When my sister told me she would pay for it for my birthday I figured…. Why not!

I hope we have enough hot days left in the season to test it.

Looks great, I like the SR logo!

That’s the little customization part I was talking about. Patrick fabricated the insert portion first and gave that part back to me before the install. I then had my co-worker do the engraving with his CNC laser. We are going to fill in the engraving with the black caulk to bring it up to the same level.

Nice sister!

I was not completely satisfied with the installation with the way the insert portion was not completely imbedded into the platform (white showing around the edge). So Patrick came up with a way to border it. I in turn filled in the Sea Ray graphic to build it up to the same level as the Nu Teak. We also added a the piece under the transom door to complete the look.
