Another newbie, old searay

Hi Guys. I bought a 1984 Searay 260 Sundancer today. Now busy looking for a slip. Looking forward to playing with this classic. Previoius boat was a late 50's Bellboy 18.5 Express. My avatar, if it works, shows the boat and the profile should show it on the trailer.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm getting my truck ready to haul the boat. Tomorrow we're visiting a number of marinas in our area. Finding it hard to wait until we've had the boat for a while before changing the upholstery, canvas, and dinghy. Was going to keep it on the trailer until April 1 but think March 1 is more realistic.

Welcome, this site has alot of info on our style of searay. ask questions any time. I will help out if I can. I have a '81 sundancer, you can see on my wifes avitar[la cook] it has some custom mods...2 porthole windows on both sides that are seen in aft cabin and a pop up sun roof before topside windshield which adds great ventilation in mid cabin for cooking and air circulation. :thumbsup:

The portholes are neat. I have the pop-up sunroof above the galley. Didn't know it was custom.
