Another good year trouble free

WOW, what a summer here in Seattle. I am happy to say my 1984 34' Sedan with twinn Crusaders that had 1600 hours made it. I added 582 hours with the family and the boat ran great.

I guess all the hard work I do to keep my lady going worked out in the long run. After Labor Day weekend it will be time to do
all the basic Maints and she should be ready for next year.

I hope you all had a safe fun boating season.

Good for you, unfortunately I have only put in about 10 hours this summer, and right now Im "on the hard" with an impeller replacement, but on the bright side my season is all year long :lol:. So is that all local or did you pull some long hauls?

Holy crap, thats 24 days and nights of running the boat. I don't think I've made it to the boat 24 times this year!!

At first I thought why are you giving up on the season? Then I started doing the math. Wow, well I won't even scratch that number and we are on the water almost every weekend. Hurricane notwithstanding we will do it again this weekend.

Wow- we feel lucky to get in 100-125 hours per year. I can't even relate to 500+. I need to retire!

Im jealous. Ive got 3 hours so far this season (just bought it) so at that rate with what I had to do when I bought it.....Im at about $250/hr!

1600 hours!!!??? that's diesel numbers! definitely a tribute to upkeep, maintainence and TLC! long live the OLD searays!

I was thinking of gas prices. Figure 10 gal/hr running times 582 hours times $4.00/gal -
thats $23,280 !! We spent over $3000 dollars for 75 hours running this summer and it almost took the fun out of it.
