Another Accident

Sad. It's that "I'm 10 feet tall and bulletproof" idea that nothing bad will ever happen to me.

Gets 'em every time.

Thrown off the boat due to a malfunction? That makes no sense. But at least they didn't throw the beer cans out into the water. However now the police have an excuse to harass others who hang out there. Never a good thing.

I guess age (or our wives) have taught most of us to play hard but sober on the water and then come back to the dock and party.

The challenge is to live long enough to get to that place in life...... it is so sad to see young men die foolishly.

Sad for sure but at least they didn't kill or injure someone else.

They seem to have no clue what happened on the Minnesota story. Makes you wonder. They seem to try to lay blame on everybody.

WOW.....I just took a charter out of that harbor last week!

“Some people think it is some sort of refuge to go and drink, and they think no one is going to do anything,” Stewart said. “That couldn’t be further from the truth. Public drinking is illegal. What’s going on down there is not going unnoticed.”

Drinking on a boat is illegal? Not condoning drinking and operating, just asking.

More than likely they were on the beach. My cousins grew up near there and I have been to the parties that existed (exists?) there. Though that was 35yrs ago. I do remember returning from the "Spit" going up the North River and almost hitting a steel bulkhead that narrowed the river. Not my boat nor was I driving. Thankfully someone on the boat took the helm from the drunk owner.
