Annual Desolation Sound and Gulf Islands tour

I'm almost all packed and ready to go. I leave on Saturday morning, driving to Vancouver from Calgary. I'll be spending 3 weeks out on my boat somewhere between Desolation Sound and Victoria. Yeah it's a big area but I do have 3 weeks. I roughly plan to head north from Vancouver for the first week, return back to Vancouver to see a friend on the August long weekend and do some day cruising with her. Then over to Victoria area to meet up with another friend and take him and his family out for a day.
No idea yet for my day to day itinerary or where I'll stay each night, I'll just make it up as I go.
Last year I started prawning and had some success, this year I'm going to do some salmon fishing as well as prawning.

Have a great trip! I'm 28 days away from leaving on my trip up there (but who's counting) and I can't wait.

I'm all set up for crabbing, thinking about getting set up for salmon as well. I've never done prawns, would be interested to hear about how that's done.

Post pics if you could, I also don't have a set itinerary, so would be interested to hear/see real experience. I've only been to the San Juans in years past, this year we're heading to the Canada side and spending most/all of our 2.5 weeks there.
