anchor size for a 12 ft Ding

I have a caribe, 12 ft, with a 40hp. Will be anchoring periodically in a bay, sandy/muddy bottom, with wind 10 knots or less. For a mushroom style anchor, is 15 lb adequate, or should I go heavier? Thanks, bill.

15 lbs is plenty IMO. I used a 9lb Delta for my Sea Doo Speedster and that held fine. I plan on using that or a similar sized Danforth for my 14' Caribe.
