Anchor securement

1990 Sea Ray 185SR anchor compartment does not indicate to me where to secure anchor line internally. Please advise as I’m a newbie. Attached pic shows bolt about midway right before cross member. Thx

Anyhow you can secure it from the bolt. Use a large washer and nut. You should never have to use it as an anchor point. Only to secure line to boat.

Yeah, like Andy said, use the existing bolt, find a nut and washer that fits.

You can also cut a piece of pressure treated 2x4 larger then the deck hole, drill a hole in the 2x4 for the line to pass through and tie. That's if you have deck hole lol
