i have read several older threads concerning problems when adding an anchor roller to small - mid sized boats that have a single bow navigation light that is located in the center of the bow...i thought i would share how i addressed this on my 215EC recently...i installed a deck cleat and two skene chocks along with a small anchor roller...this arrangement allows me to launch and retrieve the anchor without having the anchor or chain rub against the boat hull and/or the rub rail....once the anchor is dropped and set i use the skene chocks to route the rode away from the navigation light and roller to keep from possibly damaging them from the rocking of the boat while on the hook....all of the new harware is stainless steel and through bolted with steel backing plates...this set up works quite well for my relatively small boat and does not interfere with the nav light...the new hardware does not show up in my sig picture yet...need to get a new sig pic uploaded....
