Anchor Locker

[Case1]

I have a 2005 240 sundeck . The bow anchor locker is hinged on the back of the hatch not on the side like on later models. I find the rear hinge to be awkward to use and want to move the hinge to the port side. Does anyone know if they simply moved the hinge or if it was a redesign. A picture of the side mount hinge would be helpful . Anyone ?

In the owners section of searay.com, look in the recent model section. For 2005-8 I saw the rear hinge. For 2010 I see the side hinge. Looked the same to me but you should check it out, because you know the hatch better than me.

I did notice that the latch is also in a different spot. That may or may not affect you. And I see ladder groves in the 05, but could not tell by the pics of the 2010.
