Anchor locker leaking into cabin storage

I recently purchased a 1992 Sea Ray 290. Water is coming in through the anchor locker and into the storage located under the front berth. I briefly examined the anchor locker and it appears t be full of mud/silt. An suggestions on cleaning the locker without making a muddy mess inside the boat. Additionally, where are the drain holes for the locker? Many thanks.

Drain holes will be near the bottom - you can see them from the outside of the boat.

Scrape out as much as possible by hand or with putty knife. Maybe a shop vac. Finish with rags. There's no magic here - you'll need to get your hands dirty. Then open up the crack and use epoxy/glass to fix.

I used a high pressure washer from the outside to open the drains that were blocked by rust and mud.
