Anchor Chain Length on 310 ?

i am going to have to run the anchor chain on gerry's 310 out on the dock one of these days and measure it. and then paint some marks on it.

i have read the spec sheet for this year, 2000, and found the all chain anchor rode was an option offered from the factory. ours has all chain. so far the supplied length has alluded me.:huh:

my question; is there any one out there that also had this option and if so, do you remember what the length of the chain rode was as originally supplied?

any help or good guesses are welcome. all i can tell you is it is a fairly large pile of chain in the anchor locker and works very well to anchor.

Did you ever determine the length? I have a 290 Amberjack, all chain as well, and have yet to measure....

I just replaced all of mine and I just emailed Sea Ray with my boats info and he told me exactly what to get. Just go through the Sea Ray site and do the Contact Us prompt.

They are very helpful.

Call Imtra corp in RI they supply the G4 metric link chain it is over $1000.00 if you get american link it will tear up capistan or spindel on windless. It was around 200 feet on a 34. But you will plane much faster.
