So my 230 has a 4 blade prop and at my primary lake (5300ft altitude) my WOT is 3900-4100 depending on water conditions so I know I need to change up the prop but the other lake I spend a lot of time at is 6000ft. Will I need 2 props or should I try to find one thats in the middle?

You won't even notice the performance change with the 700ft of elevation change between the two lakes. One prop will be fine.
I have run my boat in lakes that had a 2300' difference in elevation, and it was not worth changing anything.
As for your current 3900-4100 rpm range, sounds low to me, but I don't know what your peak rpm should be on that 5.7.

Thanks for the reply I have gone to a 3 blade 17 p (down 3 from my old 4 blade) and so far I am happy with it, but may try out an 18 this week I'll post how it goes.
