I replaced the Clarion radion in my 310DA with an Alpine CDA 9884 primarily to be able to access iPhone music. To do it I cut a faceplate out of brushed stainless to hold the radio and cover the old CD changer hole. The mounting holes line up so I can reinstall the old set up if I need to. I also cut a hole for the interface plug for the iPhone/iPod. I cut out the SeaRay logo & inlaid black granite. It looked a bit plain so I cut a wood trim ring to surround the faceplate. I am lucky to have a waterjet cnc at my business to do these types of modifications. I have offered waterjet cnc services to other CSR members in a previous post. If you are interested please search "waterjet" in the advanced search field. Thanks!
