Alpha one gen one shift cable replacement help needed

I am replacing the shift cable on Alpha One Gen One drive. I have the gimbal assemble removed from the boat including the transom plate. There is a small allen set screw on the shift cable slide that I cannot remove. I have ordered the complete kit including the shift cable slide replacement. Does this assembly come apart or do I need to break it to take it out?
Is there any article of video on how this cable is replaced?
