Need some advice. I have the following exhaust bellow hat I am currently changing.

Should I replace it with the same bellow or am I able to use this one? The end on the Bell Housing is oval shaped, so I don’t know if I could even install it.

The first picture of the oval one is typically used on a bravo 3. It is very easy to replace as it only clamps to the transom side.

The open end slides over the outdrive end but allows some exhaust to escape, not everything goes through the drive. It is a bit louder and I believe the recommended part for the B3 and 350 MAG.

The second one looks like the Alpha1G2 exhaust bellow and supposedly is a BIT€H to install, it directs all the exhaust through the outdrive and it will be quieter.

I would prefer the quieter one but I don’t think it will fit with the oval end on the Bell Housing.

Either one will work on a Alpha. The full bellows is quieter and harder to install - you need a bellows tool. The tube is louder, but easy to install. I installed the tube on my Alpha when I did the bellows because I didn't want to buy a bellows tool for a one time use. I've been pretty happy with the tube, as mentioned it is a little louder, not a lot, I notice it especially on plane when you trim the drive up.

Ok thanks. I think I'll stick with the tube for now.

I just did mine on my alpha 1 gen 2 without the tool and taking drive off. You tube it. Can use zip ties to put around and pull. 2 man job

I will check it out thanks!
