Two years ago I replaced my bellows, shift cable and trim limit / sender. Everything has been fine except over this summer I noticed the trim gauge no longer goes all the way down when the drive is tilted down. I figured the sender had gotten out of adjustment some how. I fiddled with some this weekend and can't seem to get it adjusted exactly right. As most of you probably know, the only adjustment is to turn the sender on the outdrive until the needle on the gauge is n the down position. So I went through the adjustment, took the sender off, aligned the markes on the back, re-installed it and adjusted the needle to down. However when I trim the drive up, the gauge doesn't start to move until the drive is almost half way trimmed up, then it would jump to half way on the gauge. After messing with it awhile, I finally got it back to the point where the needle moves accurately through the whole trim range, it just doesn't read completely down when the drive is actually down. On my gauge down is 10 oclock and up is 2 oclock, but mine reads more like 10:30 when fully down. Anyone have any ideas?
