Alpha 1 water vents

Just completed my own service on the alpha 1 out drive, Changing the water pump impellor and drive oil. I pulled it out onto the driveway hooked up the garden hose and started it up, I am not sure if I am dreaming or not noticed before but water was coming from the little hole on the right hand side of the drive where the bolts and nuts secure the upper and lower housings. There was still plenty of water coming from the transom and prop though, Is this normal or has something gone a miss?

I'm thinking something is a miss. I have an alpha 1 and don't recall ever seeing water coming from that area.

You are fine. i recall this hole and water does come out of mine too. Normal!
