I kinda like the sound. It sounds like some of the noises they have in a submarine movie.

Who in the heck voted to live with it? (1 person at this time) I hope this person was being sarcastic or doped up on something, otherwise, I would be really interested in seeing the condition of this individual's vessel.

I voted before I heard the sound and maybe its my laptop speakers I couldn't tell how bad the sound was after I heard it. I use to have a Volvo Penta SX drive and it was silent compared to my alpha. After reading this thread I am now worried about my drive. It was about 180 hours on it and I have always felt a vibration between 800 and 1000 rpms but no submarine sounds.
